Africa, the Middle East, and southern Asia

Habitat:

Savanna, scrub, dry woodlands, and hilly steppes

Diet:

Birds, rodents, hyraxes, dik-dik, and young antelope

Life Cycle:

The gestation cycle last 70-78 days, usually 1-4 kittens are born. The kittens eyes open after 6-10 days. The mother raises the kittens alone. Lifespan is about 17 years.
